Programs

Laundry Workers Center has four active programs which members can participate in:

Workplace Justice Campaigns provide the tools and education to low-wage workers in the laundry, restaurant, and warehouse industries to build better, sustainable jobs and empower community leaders

Research and Policy help to engage communities on policies that have large socio-economic impacts such as civil rights, immigration reform and dignity in the workplace.

The Progressive Block Leadership Institute is an open training that provides innovative educational training to low-income community members on leadership development, social media, and grassroots, civics, and community organizing.

Solidarity  LWC participates in coalition-building within a growing local network of member-led organizations. Real solidarity is key to make our labor movement grow.
